RESULT OF LAST WEEK’S POLL
Last week we had asked you to share your views and experience about social engagement in light of the Pandemic
- Not surprisingly, 85% of you miss the social engagement like it used to happen in the pre-COVID times
- While 54% of you feel that your well being has been impacted moderately to severely due to lack of social engagement, 33% have learnt to cope well with it and are not impacted as much. Interestingly, 12% of you are experiencing a better sense of well being in the post COVID world.
- The top 3 ways in which you are keeping yourself engaged in current times includes – 1) Spending time on Facebook, WhatsApp and YouTube, 2) Pursuing a hobby, and 3) Attending online events/classes
- Sharing some the thoughtful suggestions received from all of you in context of social engagement:
- “We must try to set up local city wise groups to meet and interact with each other physically”
- “Comfortable travel tours (with Covid19 safety norms) could be thought of”
- “Engage the readers in online activities. Arm chair recreation, I would say. Conduct age-appropriate competitions. Have more online sessions on important health aspects.”
- “You’re already doing a good job of it. Keep it up Samarth”
We are extremely grateful to you for participating in our polls and sharing your views. Thank you!
